T61p Scroll Not Working


I added the string and restarted TB. I'm not even sure that's theoretically possible.As for smoothness of scrolling - I believe it has to do with settings. In the settings I was unable to get rid of those 'zones' and thus I uninstalled the entire driver and reinstalled it, with properly rebooting in between.Now I regained the ability I have also seen some posts recommended checking your Mouse properties, it may provide some insight in to what we are looking for.

If the notes seem sparse, that's because the code is sparse. I have been working with Ubuntu for years and have been able to handle this pretty simply before by updating the xorg.conf file. External mouse works fine for scrolling. but only when I don't select "scrolling and tapping only" for the touchpad. With it set to -1, it isn't enabling the hack because it's a version 15 driver.
