Most of the time it's just a temporary issue. I didn't need to rightclick and open it, the Sims Launcher just took it from there when I leftclicked on it.Hello,So, from what I understand, you'll just get a black screen I installed my Store Content but it's not showing up in my game Unfortunatly, the Launcher is a very unreliable tool. At least for me it won't, so make sure you play the game from Steam and have the launcher open that way before trying to install anything.If none of that works it actually started within seconds!) I moved my saved game, my Mods folder, and well everything else I wanted to keep from the old folder.

Don't install all in one go. If I try to close the launcher I'll get this message, "The download process is running. Thanks! If you haven't tried that already then you might as well give it a go and see what happens.

Sims 3 Launcher Won't Install Sims3packs I've read online, that hair gets funky when compressed, Is that a problem with CCM. Here is a link to the topic on how to start your game not using the launcher, in case you need that. Start the Launcher and go to the Downloads tab.

It worked, but in order to keep it working you must empty the DCCache folder after every installation!

I installed a world from the Sims 3 Store but it's not ingame. This time it worked.
Thanks for the guides, I've used them a few more times than I would have liked, LOL. Please can you offer me some advice? All the lots can be searched, sub-categorized, and deselected etc. There are two showing as installed.
If you're using Chrome, you could look for the cookie associated with the SIms 3 site and delete that one specifically. If that is the case there are two things I can think of off the top of my head 1. The icon they have also varies from showing as Store Content (the little shopping bag) to user-created content (red rosette). and its licensors. I'm not sure what you mean by "simply reinstall the sims3pack" in step #12, do you mind elaborating on how I might do this?
