Safe Mode restart then an earlier restore worked for me. Presto! I then use the backup on my external WD hard drive which usually works. I think this is a bad deal....please help! Check This Out

You need to give it time to unlearn so it regains proper start-up functions.Ignore the whole restore crap for now & make sure your drivers are working ok.
